This collection of academic papers examines contemporary international relations through the prism of Russia's war against Ukraine. In particular, it analyses the process of forming and implementing the European Union's “grand strategy”, the main stages and problems of Ukraine's European integration, the principles of NATO's collective defence against the backdrop of contemporary challenges to Euro-Atlantic security, the specifics of Ukrainian-Polish-Lithuanian relations in the format of small security alliances, Ukraine's place in the foreign policy of Great Britain and the Netherlands in the context of the Russian-Ukrainian war, and the role of the Ukrainian community in Greece in helping Ukraine at war. It also covers some interesting and not-so-well-known topics in the history of Ukraine's international relations and diplomacy. Separate sections are devoted to historiographical research, memories of the activities of the Hennadiy Udovenko Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine on the occasion of its 30th anniversary, and the announcement of a new work by a Czech scholar on the history of Transcarpathia and the publication of a section from it – “The Annexation of Subcarpathian Rus to the USSR”
